The spelling of some words in Danish




This sight gives me a good idea of how you Englishmen look at the Danes ;-)

Just this: velbekommen is spelled: velbekomme. But the meaning of it is quite accurately described.

Tak for i dag, when leaving work means: Thank you for a nice time together.

Godt weekend is spelled god weekend.

What I really came here for was to find an English dictionary of rhymes. (In Danish: Rimordbog) My daughter writes her own songs, both in Danish an English. If you have the time I would like to answer me on this, my email: [email protected].
