by No
(No)

Hi
What is the difference between the two passes.
How is the city pass work. I want to buy 4 passes for two days travel in Copenhagen on 24.9.11 and 6.10.11.Do I need to stamp on the city and 24hrs travel passes first before used or I just used when I collect the passes
Can I use these passes on DSB, regional and intercity trains

Thank you

Answer:

Tan,

There is a difference between the two passes. The city pass is only good for zones 1,2,3 and 4.

This covers most of downtown area, Amager and airport. You can get them for either 24 hours or 72

hours. Price is 70 kroner for 24 hours and 180 for 72 hours.

A 24 hour pass is only different in that you can use it for all the zones. This does not include regional trains. Cost is 130 kroner.

You stamp the pass/klippekort when you first use it. Do NOT stamp it when you purchase it unless you plan to use it immediately. The pass is good for 24 hours or 72 hours from the time you stamp the pass.

Depending on where you plan to go in Copenhagen, you may not need a bus pass. The city is quite manageable on foot. You can purchase the pass at the main train station or at most of the train kiosks in the city area.

Hope that answers your question.
